Catching up on stuff

Last Saturday we had our photo taken by Dan Lim who is an awesome fashion photographer and great friend. It was his and Suzy's Christmas gift to us. The pics turned out great and now I just need to get them printed. We are going to do that at Costco today.

Devin is growing like a weed and learning more and more everyday. Actually I guess I could say the same thing about Sydney.

The weather was nice here for about a week but now it's rainy again. Apparently by Friday it's going to turn cold.

We have the playgroup girls coming here on Friday so it's going to be a busy week.

I did apply to the Maya Road team but didn't get on. Not surprising though because I left the project to the last minute and it could have been so much better. Plus from what I've seen there were some awesome projects that didn't get chosen either.

Playgroup

We went to a playgroup today at the town's gym. I had met some ladies on line and we decided to meet. It was a great time and I wish we had of gone to this sooner. Sydney had a blast running around and now she is napping after lunch. Certainly wears here out which is what she needs.

Yesterday she bit Devin's hand. The poor guy didn't know what was coming and he let out one awful scream. I came running and realized what she had done. I hope she understood why she was punished.

Last night I got some scrapping done so I'm going to continue with it.

Things to do

I need to update this more often but I forget. Although I love reading others.

Now that things have settled a bit in our lives I need to get some goals set for this maternity leave.

1. Get rid of the clutter in this house
2. Get my scrap room organized and cleaned up
3. Enter the Maya Road DT - I doubt I'll get on but it will be a great experience.
4. Possibly enter the HOF - again a great experience but it may not happen due to time needed.
5. Have a vacation. Not sure where yet but we need one
6. Motivate John to finish some stuff around here. Not sure how I will motivate him but they need to get finished
7. Lose weight - not just the baby weight but more.

I'm sure there is more to add and I will as I think of them.

Thanks to MaryS! who asked us to log onto her blog which inspired me to come to mine. I hadn't realized it was so long since I posted something here.

Well, I went from a post saying that It's Postive to the last final days. I'm tired all the time but I can't wait for our son to arrive. I'm finally at home on Maternity leave with DD and it is fun... and tiring. She can be so funny but she has become very independent. Amazing how time flies - I can't believe it's only been 1.5 since she was born.

Well, I'm off to finish up some stuff that I have been putting off.
